If you choose option 1, you will visit this beautiful new hut with 70 beds. There is electric light, but unfortunately no drinking water, as is often the case in mountain huts. The hut warden collects the melt water in cisterns and is only allowed to give it to the guest after it has been boiled. The hut warden will be happy to spoil you with her excellent cooking skills. In good weather you can experience one of the most beautiful sunsets far and wide.
The Wilstrubel hut was renovated and refurbished in 2005. A worthwhile destination for a lunch stop or an overnight stay with a unique sunset.
